I remembered a scene in The Last Kingdom when a new fighter, Osferth, confessed to Uhtred – a seasoned warrior, just before going into the battlefield, that he was afraid. Uhtred simply told him.

Courage is the finding the will to overcome your fear.

That’s the difference between bravery and courage. Courage is taking action, not for the lack of fear, but, in spite of fear. Be courageous, and take that (baby) step today.
